Video of the Week:
Ana Popovic
The Boscov's Berks Jazz Fest schedule features a dynamic lineup of blues artists, including the amazing Ana Popovic.
Popovic will be performing on Friday, April 4, 7:30 p.m., at the Inn of Reading.
Opening the dynamic double-bill will be harpist Steve Guyger & The Excellos.
Popovic -- the award-winning, hard-touring, guitar slinger -- blends smoking electric funk and slide guitar, jazzy instrumentals and a tight blues groove with soulful, feminine vocals.
Add to the mix her incredible stage presence, all of which makes her an irresistible force in the world of contemporary blues music.
Ana has been nominated for the Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year.
It is Popovic's fifth Blues Music Award nomination.
All of Ana's albums have made it the top five of the Billboard blues charts.
