Dave Koz' musical career is always evolving.
The popular saxophonist now is taking on the challenge of being the bandleader and co-host for the new original series "The Emeril Lagasse Show," which debuts this Sunday at 8 p.m. on the ION network. (Check your local cable listings.)
The one-hour, weekly show will combine Emeril's love of food, entertaining, music and fun as he gives new meaning to the phrase "let the good times roll."
Each show will feature a different theme -- complete with celebrity guests, music and, of course, food.
Koz has assembled a first-rate group of New York-based musicians, including guitarist Jeff Golub, keyboardist Philippe Saisse, drummer Skoota Warner, and bassist Conrad Korsch. Golub and Saisse both have performed many times at the Berks Jazz Fest.
