Gerald Veasley & Jackiem Joyner

Building 24 Live, the Wyomissing music venue, will be taking an indefinite hiatus after electric bassist Veasley and saxophonist Joyner take the stage on Friday, June 30, at 7:30 p.m.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets are $28 and are available in advance or at the door.
Influenced by his upbringing in the gospel church and a love of contemporary R&B, Jackiem Joyner continues to make his mark in contemporary jazz as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger.
Joyner has performed during the Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest several times, including this year as a special guest with Keiko Matsui’s band.
He will join Veasley and his band for this special collaboration.
Veasley’s musical odyssey has taken him to the top of the contemporary music world as a bassist, bandleader, composer, producer and educator – and the musical host of the annual Berks Jazz Fest.
“We are looking forward to performing with Jackiem, who is quickly becoming a shining light in contemporary jazz,” said Veasley. “If this concert is the last show at Building 24, we are going to give the audience a memorable night of music.”
