   The VF Outlet Berks Jazz Fest is proud to introduce a dynamic new online feature -- Diane Dayton's podcast interviews with major artists who will be appearing during the 10-day festival.
   Diane has an engaging, educated interviewing style that instantly connects with her guests and her audience.
   She adroitly and quickly establishes a warm rapport with her subjects with concise and focused questions that trigger animated and insightful conversations.

   During this taped Q&A session, you'll get to know them like never before as they answer your questions live!
   Be in the audience for this event that will be held Saturdays March 29 and April 5, at 11 a.m., in Gerald Veasley's Jazz Base at the Sheraton Reading Hotel.
   Tickets will be $5 at the door.

Peter White Interview
   Diane Dayton interviews legendary jazz guitarist Peter White to discuss his career and performance during 18th annual VF Outlet Berks Jazz Fest.
   White will perform during the festival with Guitars & Saxes, Saturday, April 5, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral at 7:00 p.m.
   Joining White in the Guitar & Saxes show will be saxophonist Gerald Albright, keyboardist Jeff Lorber and guitarist Jeff Golub.

Paul Brown Interview
   Diane Dayton interviews guitarist Paul Brown to discuss his career and performance during 18th annual VF Outlet Berks Jazz Fest.
   Paul Brown is part of the "Paul Brown Guitar Evening" package that also features Kenny Rankin and Marc Antoine. The show is set for Sunday, March 30, at the Reading Sheraton Hotel ballroom.
   Concert starts at 2 p.m.

Jason Miles Interview
   Diane Dayton interviews keyboardist, arranger, producer Jason Miles to discuss his career and performances during 18th annual VF Outlet Berks Jazz Fest.
   Jason Miles is producing two special concerts for the fest -- To Grover With Love on Sunday, March 30, at the Sovereign Performing Arts Center; and Global Noize on Saturday, April 5, at the Sheraton Reading Hotel.
   Both shows feature all-star lineups.

   Dave Samuels and the Caribbean Jazz Project, featuring special guest Paquito D'Riveria, will perform during the festival at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel on Friday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m.
   The Caribbean Jazz Project is a two-time Grammy Award winner.

   Dalton will perform during the festival with her jazz band at the Peanut Bar & Restaurant on Wednesday, April 2, at 8 p.m., with George Grund on piano, Steve Meashey on bass, Paul Miller on drums, Doc Mulligan on trombone; and at The YR Club on Saturday, April 5, at 7:00 p.m., with Andy Roberts on piano, Steve Meashey on bass, Ed Stalosky on drums, and Seth Mellon on sax.

   Colionne and Simpson also will be part of the annual Berks All-Star Jazz Jam later that night at the Sheraton Reading Hotel.
   The jam concert starts at 10:00 p.m.

Richard Smith Interview
   Diane Dayton kicks off her series of online interviews with guitarist Richard Smith.
   Smith will be performing at the festival with an exciting new project called the LA Chillharmonic on Saturday, March 29, at the Sheraton Reading Hotel at 2:00 p.m.
   Joining Smith for the concert will be bassist Brian Bromberg, saxophonist Michael Paulo, keyboardist Gregg Karukas, trumpeter Greg Adams and the Berks Jazz Fest Horns.
