The Boscov's Berks Jazz Fest family was saddened to learn that jazz piano/vocal legend Bob Dorough has passed away.
Dorough, 94, performed numerous times at the fest, working with the educational team and music students, and headlining shows.
In 2014, Dorough celebrated his 90th birthday with a special performance with Janis Siegel, a founding member of The Manhattan Transfer, during the Berks Jazz Fest.
After the show, Berks music icon Doc Mulligan visited with Siegel and Dorough.
Thanks for the memories Bob Dorough.
    Rest in peace!
