LOCAL EVENTS AND JAZZ APPRECIATION MONTH CELEBRATION

• The festival is expanding into a month-long April celebration, formally aligning with Jazz Appreciation Month.

• All April performances at local venues will be part of the Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest / JAM Celebration.

• First wave of JAM events will be announced in December 2026.

• The Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM) initiative was originally established by the Smithsonian National Museum of American History to honor the cultural impact of jazz. By teaming up with local venues, clubs, churches, and unique venues, the festival brings a massive wave of live music to the community throughout April.
